Dr. Raymond A. Stegeman is a veterinarian in St. Thomas, Missouri where he and his wife Jeane own and operate Osage Veterinary Clinic, LLC, a predominately large animal - mixed animal practice.
He graduated in 1988 with a DVM degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, he practiced as an associate veterinarian at the Vienna Veterinary Clinic for 3 years and purchased the Osage Veterinary Clinic from Dr. Dennis Markway in the Fall of 1991.
The practice has grown over the years with a strong emphasis on production animal medicine. The practice consists of three veterinarians including himself, his son Dustin Stegeman, DVM and Cameron Hall, DVM covering an area with a radius of more than 100 miles.
The clinic is a true mixed animal practice consisting of small animal, beef and dairy cattle, small ruminants, swine and equine. There has been a transition from a large proportion of Dairy farms in the 1990's to predominantly beef cow / calf today,
Dr. Stegeman is a member of Production Animal Consultation (PAC), a group of food animal veterinarians working to improve production and performance from birth to slaughter. He is also a member of MVMA, AVMA, AABP, AVC, MCA, NCBA and the Society of Theriogenology.
In his pastime Dr. Stegeman enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren in the outdoors, on the farm and church.
