    Dr. Benjamin Ward (1915 - 2005)

    Dr. Benjamin Ward was born October 3, 1915 at Anton, Iowa.

    Retired since 1985, Dr. Ward practiced in St. Louis for nearly 30 years and in Highland and Alton, both in Illinois, for eight years. Following graduation, Dr. Ward served in the Army Air Corps as a food and dairy inspector. A World War II veteran, he was the recipient of the Air Offense Medal, Eastern Mandates Medal, Victory Medal, American Theater Medal, General Air Force Medal, and two Bronze Stars.

    He was a US Army and Air Force Veteran; WW II, Medical Corp.; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State College 1938; member Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Assoc., Mo. Veterinary Medical Assoc.., and American Veterinary Medical Assoc.

    Dr. Ward passed away February 1, 2005.
