    My interest in Microbiology started early in life.

    After completing an AA Degree at Shasta Junior College, I finished a degree in Microbiology at San Jose State University in 1964.   After serving in the Army Medical Service Corp from 66-69, I attended the University of Idaho receiving MS and PhD degrees by 1974.

    Professional organizations in College:  San Jose State-Sigma MU Tau, Bacteriology and Medical Technology organization. 

    First professional job:  Microbiologist at Orange County Public Health, Santa Ana, CA – 64-66

    Commissioned Officer - US Army Medical Service Corps 66-69

    Research Assistant, University of Idaho, 69-74

    University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine 74 to Present – Diagnostic Veterinary Microbiologist; Post Doctoral Studies Veterinary Microbiology 74-75

    Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor – CVM-UMC

    Currently Professor Emeritus and Adjunct Professor at the Univ. of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory 2016 to date
