Dr. Fray attended the University of Missouri and graduated in 1991.  He was an active member of the Mule Club; Bovine Club; SCAVMA and Honor Code Committee. 

He was always interested in biology, physiology and “how things work”, so he followed in his father’s footsteps and started working for the veterinarians that worked at his father’s clinic.

His first job after graduation was working for Mike Speece, DVM in Auburn, NE; he currently owns and works at the Cooper County Animal Hospital in Boonville, MO.

He is an active member and Elder for the First Christian Church, Boonville. 

Some of his awards and honors are:  Rotary Club President; board member, Boonslick Chamber of Commerce past president; Boonville FFA honorary chapter degree; WCVMA past president (1998); MVMA Board member 2003-2009, and President 2009; various MVMA committees, task forces, etc.  Currently presides on the Missouri Veterinary Medical Foundation Board. 

He is married to his wife, Kelly (28 years), has a son Nicholas and a daughter, Anna.

He received the honor of Veterinarian of the Year in 2016.
