Beloved friend and pet for almost 14 years. By most accounts, 9 years is a normal life for a Standard Poodle, but Lexi was 14 y 6 m when she passed away, essentially from old age. She was healthy for her whole life, but was slowing down in the last year. But would still 'prance' when she went out for a walk. We got her when she was 8 mos. old then enjoyed her company for all the years since. She had new people as friends within 5 minutes of meeting her. Her groomers were happy to see her because of her good behavior on the clipping table. She WIILL be missed, but NEVER forgotten!

This is now 2024, still think of her every week and often comment on her wonderful disposition and independent behavior.
