    Dr. Roger Dozier is a 1966 graduate of the University of Illinois-College of Veterinary Medicine. 

    Until recently, Dr. Dozier owned and operated Southwest Animal Hospital in Jefferson City, MO, where he had an active practice of more than 5,000 patients.  More than 60% of his clients were with Dr. Dozier for a minimum of 10 years.  Dr. Dozier developed advance skills and interest in orthopedic surgery as well as soft tissue.  His peers recognize Dr. Dozier’s surgical skills and many refer their difficult cases to him. 

    In 2009 Dr. Dozier was awarded the Veterinarian of the Year Award by the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association.  In 2006 Dr. Dozier received the Distinguished Service Award for his 25 years of volunteer work with the Missouri Veterinary Medical Foundation.  Dr. Dozier has served as MVMA Board Chair, President, President-Elect, Vice President and Vice President of the MVMA LLC Board of Managers.  He has served as Chairman of the MVMF Fundraising Committee, and Public Relations Committee, along with numerous other committees and board positions through the years. 

    Dr. Dozier enjoys other activities such as golf, boating, fishing and playing tennis.  He and his wife, Linell, are the proud parents of five children and proud grandparents of seven grandchildren.
