John R. Bates, DVM
Ever since I was six years old I knew I wanted to be a "dog Doctor", according to his mother.
Dr. John Bates has been a Veterinarian for 33 years. He married his wife Monica in 1982.
He is a graduate of UMC class of 1983. He has been practicing in Imperial, Missouri his entire career. With considerable help from his wife, he designed and built their 800 square foot facility, which now is 8,000 square foot.
He is a member of the Society of Phi Zeta Pi Chapter.
He received the AAHA Senior Student Award
He currently serves on the Animal Welfare & Emergency Management and Public Health Committees and is a former Board Member of Animal Emergency Clinic.
