Nisa - 2002 - August 25, 2019

Nisa came into our household in November of 2002. She was having litterbox issues at her previous address, and the Emerson household's policy of putting a litterbox wherever there's room for one seemed to agree with her. She was the soft kitty because her fur was so much finer than that of the other cats. She was also the licky cat -- she took advantage of exposed fingers at the computer keyboard to the extent that gloves were needed. Nisa was a very healthy kitty and strong almost to the very end. 

We sent Nisa kitty over the bridge on August 25, 2019. She took a turn for the worse that day. Thankfully she didn’t suffer. No specific issues. 17 good years with a soft, pretty, and licky cat. She annoyingly would lick our hands. She will be missed hanging out in the kitchen demanding our attention.
